Matías Feigin is an Argentine pianist, musical director and arranger with an international profile. Trained in popular piano at TAMABA with Gabriel Mourelos and further refined in classical technique with Antonio De Raco and Nilda Somma, he has built an artistic identity defined by rhythmic precision, stylistic command and musical leadership from the keyboard.
Between 2011 and 2020, he was pianist with Tango Fire, one of the most widely touring productions in the international tango circuit, performing throughout Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas. That chapter established him as a regular presence in major theatres and concert halls and strengthened his experience in large-scale stage productions.
He is currently a permanent pianist with Quinteto Astor Piazzolla on the Oblivion Tour 2025–2026 and, since 2021, has also served as musical director and pianist for Raúl Lavié, combining performance, arrangements and artistic direction.
His work brings together piano performance, musical direction, arranging and repertoire development for stage productions, concert settings and international touring.
His professional practice spans international stage tango, musical direction from the piano, chamber performance, arrangements for tango orchestra, tango quintet work, music production, ensemble stylistic coordination and solo piano.
These skills are applied across projects of different scales, from theatre productions and touring programmes to concert work, always with a strong focus on repertoire coherence, ensemble leadership and the sonic architecture of each production.
